The mission of UVA’s Darden School of Business is to improve the world by developing and inspiring responsible leaders and by advancing knowledge. In other words, by moving its students and alumni forward. Darden approached Frankl Creative to create strategic campaign materials for The Darden Annual Fund, a critical component of Darden’s fundraising efforts. We developed materials to remind alumni that by moving Darden forward, every alumnus advances. That celebrating the success of Darden’s mission by supporting the School is an investment in one’s self, fellow graduates, and alumni efforts to improve the world.
This campaign ushered The Darden Annual Fund into two consecutive years of record giving. The second year, unrestricted cash contributions to the fund totaled $4.26 million—far surpassing the $4 million aspirational goal and the previous year’s record of $3.5 million.
